BRIDGE stands for Building Rigour Independance, Diveristy and Gender Equity in the arts industry. Over 3 years, performance makers gathered at Metro Arts and Queensland Theatre to share knowledge and create change through critical conversations about practice and industry. The group’s vision was to create an energised, inclusive performing arts culture that enabled women to practice self determined leadership. Discussions were held monthly from 2017 until the COVID pandemic hit in 2020.
